Walmart Will Require Corporate Staff and Managers to Be Vaccinated

As the delta variant spreads across the United States, Walmart is responding to the updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention with a revised mask policy and a new vaccine mandate. All Walmart associates who work in stores in areas of the country where the virus is spreading most rapidly must now wear a mask, regardless of their vaccination status. Furthermore, the retailer announced Friday that its corporate staff and management-level associates must be vaccinated against COVID-19 by October 4th.

The mandate applies to all home office associates, in addition to market, regional and divisional employees who work in multiple facilities, the nation’s largest private employer said.
