Walmart Forays Into the Business-to-Business Market

Walmart has advanced by leaps and bounds in recent years, expanding its omni-channel capabilities to challenge Amazon on its own turf. Its pickup and delivery services have won over its customers, many of whom have signed up for the retailer’s membership program Walmart+. Now, Walmart has announced its plan to sell the capabilities and technologies it has developed to thousands of small and mid-sized businesses through a partnership with Adobe.

“We’ve built new capabilities to serve the evolving needs of our own customers, and we have a unique opportunity to use our experience to help other businesses do the same,” John Furner, chief executive officer of Walmart U.S., said in a statement.
