Dr. Jason Franklin has spent the last 20 years researching, developing, and investing in deep technology.
During his Ph.D. at CMU he developed novel data storage and security technology for which he won the 2012 Allen Newell Award (which is named after one of the father’s of Artificial Intelligence) and the SOSP Best Paper Award (2009).
During his post-doc at Stanford, he founded a startup that pioneered a new type of mobile security technology which they successfully commercialized.
During his career in Venture Capital, he worked on investments in companies that sold for nine figures to Red Hat, Microsoft, Navient, Splunk, and NVIDIA and several other category leading companies with a combined enterprise value of $20B+.
